About Hatake Hotoke
Mizunigol travels between young rice plants and disturbs the paddy surface to suppress weeds before they become established. GNSS positioning guides repeated coverage while rotating or dragging mechanisms stir the water and mud, reducing light available to germinating weeds. Operation begins around five days after transplanting and is repeated every three to five days through the early growing period.
The robot covers roughly ten ares in 15–20 minutes and can process around three hectares during a ten-hour working day under suitable conditions. Growers deploy it in water depths of approximately 4–10 cm and manage battery changes based on field size. Hatake Hotoke sells and supports the machine for low-chemical rice-growing workflows.
