About HiBot
HiBot develops inspection robots for infrastructure and industrial environments that are dangerous, confined or difficult to access. Its portfolio includes snake-like manipulators, pipe and tank inspection systems and aerial robots used around power, chemical, energy and civil assets.
The company combines specialised mechanisms with cameras, sensing and remote operation, then integrates each platform around the structure and inspection method. Meta licensed Bombyx aerial fibre-deployment technology to HiBot after its research phase, enabling further product development for placing communication cable over challenging routes. HiBot supplies equipment, engineering and field services from Japan.

Float Arm targets remote inspection of pipe racks, tanks and confined spaces that are difficult or hazardous to enter. BASF Antwerpen completed operator training and certification with HiBot after receiving the robot.

The agreement covered HiBot systems including Float Arm, Soryu-C and Squid with HiBox digital services. Vinçotte had already used HiBot Float Arm for nuclear-facility inspection before the agreement.
