About Hood Tech
Hood Tech Vision develops gyro-stabilised imaging payloads for uncrewed aircraft, crewed aircraft, vehicles and boats. Alticam turrets combine daylight and infrared cameras with precision pointing for surveillance, inspection, mapping and target observation.
Payloads span compact systems for small aircraft through long-range multi-sensor configurations with laser rangefinding and tracking options. Mechanical stabilisation and onboard processing keep imagery usable through vehicle motion and vibration, while interfaces connect to autopilots and mission computers. Hood Tech designs and manufactures the gimbals in Oregon and supplies airframe makers and government operators.
