About Human in Motion Robotics

Human in Motion Robotics develops XoMotion, a self-balancing lower-limb exoskeleton that supports hands-free upright mobility. The powered system actively controls posture while assisting standing, sitting, turning and walking, allowing users to keep their arms available for therapy tasks and everyday interaction.

XoMotion-R is configured for rehabilitation of people with spinal-cord injury and other mobility impairments. It accommodates users from five feet to six feet four inches tall and up to 220 pounds, uses hot-swappable batteries and provides clinicians with an open control and data platform. The Canadian company began placing the system with rehabilitation clinics in 2025.
