About Hygon Information
Hygon Information Technology is a Chinese fabless processor developer founded in 2014 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market. Its established CPU portfolio spans 7000-series data-centre processors, 5000-series industry processors and 3000-series entry systems, alongside DCU accelerators for artificial-intelligence and numerical workloads.
The 1000 series extends Hygon's C86 architecture into embedded and device-side computing. Announced configurations combine CPU resources with application-dependent graphics and neural-processing blocks, PCIe 4.0, time-sensitive networking and DDR4 or DDR5 memory support. Hygon is positioning the family for industrial control, edge systems, factory automation and robot controllers.

The C86-based family targets low-power embedded and device-side compute rather than Hygon’s existing server-focused lines. Hygon says the family will be configured with different CPU, GPU and NPU resources for different applications. Reported interfaces and capabilities include integrated graphics, PCIe 4.0, TSN and DDR4/DDR5 compatibility.
