HyProMag USA is developing a domestic supply chain for recycled neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets. Its hub-and-spoke model collects end-of-life magnets and manufacturing scrap, pre-processes material near supply sources and sends recovered feedstock to a central plant for magnet production and associated chemical processing.
The planned Ironhead hub in Northlake, Texas occupies a 128,000-square-foot leased facility and will use Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap technology. Detailed engineering, procurement and plant design are under way, with initial full-capacity output designed for 673 tonnes of finished NdFeB magnets per year. The programme is a joint venture backed by CoTec and the HyProMag technology group and remains in construction and commissioning preparation.

Initial finished-magnet equipment commissioning and production are targeted for the first half of 2027. The phased plan brings finishing capability forward while the wider Texas Hub continues development. The production date remains a target, not completed commissioning.

HyProMag USA finalized a long-term lease for approximately 128,000 square feet at Ironhead Commerce Center in Dallas–Fort Worth. The site is planned as the central recycling and magnet-manufacturing hub. Commissioning in 2027 remains subject to permitting and financing.

CoTec Holdings and Maginito formed HyProMag USA as a 50:50 U.S. joint venture to commercialize HPMS magnet recycling. The joint venture was announced on 3 January 2024. HyProMag sublicensed its HPMS technology to the U.S. venture.
