About HyProMag USA

HyProMag USA is developing a domestic supply chain for recycled neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets. Its hub-and-spoke model collects end-of-life magnets and manufacturing scrap, pre-processes material near supply sources and sends recovered feedstock to a central plant for magnet production and associated chemical processing.

The planned Ironhead hub in Northlake, Texas occupies a 128,000-square-foot leased facility and will use Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap technology. Detailed engineering, procurement and plant design are under way, with initial full-capacity output designed for 673 tonnes of finished NdFeB magnets per year. The programme is a joint venture backed by CoTec and the HyProMag technology group and remains in construction and commissioning preparation.
