About Imacreate
Imacreate is a Tokyo software company developing technologies for transferring skilled human actions through XR training and robot motion reproduction. Founded in 2019, it combines virtual and mixed-reality environments with recorded movement, physical simulation and AI. Its industrial training work includes WeldNext, developed with cooperation from Kobe Steel’s welding division and Kobelco Welding Technology to teach welding procedures, preserve expert demonstrations and support remote instruction.
Its robotics software starts from a successful teleoperated action and reproduces that reference movement, using visual feedback and residual learning to correct deviations. The initial supported humanoid is Unitree G1, with processing and motion data kept on the customer’s local GPU-equipped computer. Imacreate offers annual software licences and separate implementation support. Its kendama and diabolo demonstrations are company-run validations; broader industrial robot use is a development and customer-integration opportunity.
Observed use
- Imacreate humanoid motion-reproduction software (formal name unannounced) with G1
Physical Demo - Controlled By - Imacreate’s software controls a Unitree G1 in kendama and diabolo demonstrations using recorded human actions and residual correction.

Events
- 2026-10-19 - Product Launch - Imacreate launches motion-reproduction software for Unitree G1
The annual licence costs JPY 5 million before tax, excluding the robot; implementation support starts at JPY 3 million per month. Processing and motion data remain on a local GPU-equipped computer. In company testing, G1 performed kendama for about an hour without intervention, with approximately 4,000 successes per hand.

Mixed-reality mode lets learners see real fixtures and work surroundings while practising virtual welding. The platform supports remote instruction, expert-procedure recording and pipe-welding training. Earlier NUP welding software stopped new sales; existing applications remain usable, with report-log service ending at contract expiry.

Monozukuri Ventures and individual investors participated alongside lead investor UTokyo-IPC. The capital supports research into virtual environments designed to improve practical skills in industrial and medical training. New multiplayer functionality lets instructors and learners share a virtual training space from separate locations.
