About Intercognitive Foundation
The Intercognitive Foundation convenes organisations building shared infrastructure for physical AI. Its scope is organised around identity, fees, maps, sensors, positioning, compute, connectivity, orchestration and standards: the layers that allow machines to perceive environments, locate themselves, exchange context and obtain computing resources across organisational boundaries.
The foundation promotes decentralised maps and positioning so robots are not confined to proprietary spatial systems or vulnerable to a single navigation service. It also advocates standard sensor data and interoperable protocols through which connected machines can use environmental observations and coordinate activity. Members include Auki, peaq, GEODNET, Mawari, Tashi, NuNet and NRN Agents, with technical discussions, events and proposed standards used to align their otherwise separate networks.
