About JR3
JR3 designs multi-axis load cells for force-controlled machines, robots and test systems. Its cylindrical sensors measure force along three orthogonal axes and torque around those axes, providing six-degree-of-freedom feedback between a robot wrist, tool, fixture or test article and the rest of the machine.
Foil strain gauges on internal load-bearing elements generate the measurements, with amplification and digital conversion integrated into most sensor bodies. The 30E, 45E, 75E, 67M, 100M and 160M families cover different diameters, bolt patterns, materials and load ranges, with analogue options for selected configurations. JR3 also supplies interface electronics, cables, power hardware, drawings and integration support for research, industrial automation and vehicle testing.
