Kairox Systems

Kairox Systems is developing a hybrid unmanned vehicle designed to operate in both air and water. The modular platform is intended to let defence and commercial operators cross the air-water boundary with one vehicle, combining rapid aerial transit with submerged access for maritime observation and inspection.

The company is a MassRobotics resident and participates in national-security innovation programmes while developing the platform. Work remains at an early prototype and demonstration stage, without an announced production model or operational fleet. Its engineering programme centres on the propulsion, sealing and control requirements needed for repeated movement between aerial and underwater missions.
