About Kärcher
Kärcher manufactures cleaning equipment for homes, commercial facilities and industry, including the KIRA family of autonomous floor-care machines. KIRA B 50 and B 200 scrub hard floors, while KIRA CV 50 vacuums carpet and hard surfaces in public buildings, logistics sites, shops, hospitals and production halls.
KIRA B 50 combines roller brushes, pre-sweeping and edge cleaning across a 55-centimetre working width, with rated output up to 2,300 square metres per hour. Operators map areas, schedule work and set water, detergent and speed parameters. An optional dock fills clean water, empties and rinses the recovery tank and charges the battery, enabling repeated unattended cleaning cycles.

Events
- 2026-06-22 - Demonstration - Eight-vendor AMR showcase proves federated robot orchestration
The live showcase brought robots from Ati, Karcher, Neura, Omron, Peer, Quasi and Unitree into one orchestrated environment. Space Intelligence connected vendor fleet managers with enterprise systems and dispatched coordinated missions. The demonstration served as a reference for the proposed ISO/DIS 21423 interoperability standard.
Source - 2024-05-01 - Product Launch - InOrbit launches RobOps Copilot for fleet optimization
Users can ask operational questions in natural language and refine analyses conversationally. The product supports mixed distributed fleets through the broader InOrbit platform. Karcher received early access and InOrbit demonstrated the release at Automate 2024.
Source - 2024-04-01 - Product Launch - Karcher launches KIRA B 50 autonomous scrubber
The machine used 3D sensing and integrated laser scanners for autonomous facility navigation. The launch expanded Karcher autonomous cleaning equipment beyond large-format floor scrubbers. The product gives Karcher a concrete offering for commercial automation and autonomous-system workflows.
Source - 2022-06-06 - Product Launch - InOrbit launches Connect certification for cloud robot integration
Certified robots could be added to an InOrbit account through a simplified cloud connection. The program gave end users a common operational view across different robot vendors. Karcher and Apelie Robotics were among the companies cited as early participants.
Source - 2022-05-10 - Partnership - InOrbit integrates RobOps platform with Karcher KIRA B 50
The integration provides real-time robot-health monitoring and mission-performance analysis. Karcher uses InOrbit tools for advanced incident management and remote interventions. The companies paired the integration with newly introduced Advanced Incidents capabilities.
