  Shipments are expected to begin in October and finish by the end of November 2026. The orders move customer programmes from qualification into production. KULR’s Forge 2 facility in Houston supports the manufacturing scale-up.

• 2026-07-15 - Partnership - KULR selected to power Icarus Robotics JOY free-flyer for ISS mission

  JOY is designed to navigate inside pressurised space habitats and perform useful work with autonomous free-flight and dexterous manipulation. The selection combines KULR space-qualified energy-system engineering with Icarus Robotics embodied-AI robotics. The programme is intended to establish flight heritage for autonomous robotic labour and infrastructure support in orbit.

  KULR entered a prototype battery development and fabrication agreement with a U.S.-based military drone manufacturer. The work covers system-level design, battery architecture development, prototype fabrication, functional and safety testing, and documentation for UAVs and handheld controllers. The agreement supports domestic defense drone production as the Pentagon accelerates low-cost unmanned aircraft procurement through the Drone Dominance initiative.
