Lamarr.AI provides building-envelope diagnostics using drone-based thermal and visible imaging, AI analysis and energy modelling. Its workflow captures exterior conditions, locates defects on building models and translates findings into repair priorities and capital-planning information. The intended users are building owners, portfolio operators and facilities teams assessing thermal inefficiency, water-intrusion risks and visible exterior deterioration. The company grew from research at Georgia Tech, MIT and Syracuse University and commercially launched its platform in 2023.

The current service combines aerial data capture with a cloud platform for inspection results, simulated energy impacts and proposed retrofit work. Lamarr.AI reports experience with beyond-visual-line-of-sight building inspection and lists a Syracuse business address. Its Michigan grant supports a planned thermal-drone inspection programme covering two million gross square feet of downtown Detroit buildings; that project area is an inspection scope, rather than a robot production or fleet quantity.
