About Li Auto
Li Auto designs and manufactures premium extended-range and battery-electric vehicles, with driver assistance integrated across its current model lines. AD Max and AD Pro combine cameras, lidar, positioning and automotive compute for navigation-assisted driving, lane and obstacle handling, automated parking and active safety. Newer AD Max configurations use NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U and can run Li Auto's Vision-Language-Action driver model; AD Pro uses Horizon Robotics Journey 6M.
Current L6 and L8 configurations list all-weather lidar across both assistance tiers, while their feature sets differ by compute and software package. AD Max supports full-scenario navigation assistance and parking-to-parking functions, and AD Pro provides highway navigation assistance and lane-centering functions. These are supervised production systems, not authorization for unattended driving. Li Auto owns the vehicle, driving software and validation stack; NVIDIA, Horizon Robotics and the lidar supplier provide specified compute or sensing components.
