About Liebherr Automation Systems

Liebherr connects part storage, robot loading and machining into coordinated production cells. Its pallet-handling systems serve different machine counts and layouts, while robot systems can transfer loose components from bins into fixtures. LHRobotics.Vision supplies the recognition and path planning needed to extract those components before subsequent handling or machining.

The PHS Allround system can connect machine tools from different manufacturers, with front access allowing work on one machine while the remaining system continues operating. A central control layer manages jobs and resources, links to production planning, and supports setup preparation. Tool-handling equipment extends the cell to central tool storage and exchange, bringing material and tooling flows into the same automation project.

  • 2026-05-04 - Product Launch - Liebherr launches LHDismantle robotic battery-disassembly cell

    The cell automates safety-critical removal of battery-pack fasteners before the battery-management system can be deactivated and exposed high-voltage contacts handled. Intelligent sensing, adaptable software and a guided interface address pack variation, contamination and damaged components during automated unscrewing. LHDismantle can operate as a standalone cell or connect with pallet handling, milling, laser cutting and manual stations in modular turnkey disassembly lines.
