About LIPS Corporation
LIPS Corporation supplies LIPSedge depth cameras using active stereo, time-of-flight and structured-light sensing. Rugged AE-series devices provide IP67 housings, locked industrial connections and onboard inertial sensors for robot guidance and factory automation, while compact S- and L-series models target embedded robots, dimensioning, close-range inspection and human-machine interaction.
Selected cameras add onboard CPU, NPU or FPGA processing so perception can run close to the sensor with lower latency. The S315, for example, combines global-shutter RGB and infrared imaging with an ARM Cortex-A55 processor for pick-and-place, AMR navigation and spatial measurement. The OpenNI-based LIPSedge SDK supports C, C++, C# and Python and integrates with ROS, ROS 2, NVIDIA Isaac, OpenCV and HALCON, allowing the same camera family to feed different robotic and industrial software stacks.
