Magirus develops firefighting and disaster-control equipment spanning fire engines, turntable ladders, rescue and logistics vehicles, pumps, digital fleet systems and tactical response robots. Its robotics range includes tracked platforms such as Wolf C1 for moving equipment, hoses and casualties through terrain or hazards that restrict crew access.
The company traces its history to 1864 and is headquartered in Ulm, Germany, with additional European operations in Austria, Italy and France. Mutares acquired Magirus and its affiliates from Iveco Group in January 2025. The business continues under the Magirus brand, serving municipal, industrial and civil-protection organizations with vehicles, equipment, training and service support.
