About
About MakinaRocks
MakinaRocks supplies software for developing and operating AI inside industrial organisations. Runway brings model development, deployment and management into one environment, connecting teams’ tools with shared computing resources and repeatable software setups.
The platform manages GPU allocation and can reclaim unused capacity, while access controls and audit logs support administration across teams. Offline packages and private repositories allow deployment in restricted networks that cannot depend on public cloud services. Alongside Runway, DrawX turns engineering drawings into structured information for downstream decisions. These products place MakinaRocks within the software and data workflow around industrial equipment, engineering and production.

Events
- 2026-08-12 - Partnership - SPHERE AX signs AI partnership with MakinaRocks
The companies plan to pursue defense AI opportunities across weapon systems and force-support systems. Manufacturing work will cover smart factories and production, quality, safety, equipment and automation workflows, with joint customer development in domestic and overseas markets.
Source - 2026-08-04 - Deployment - MakinaRocks field-tests anomaly detection across 12 HD KSOE welding robots
The system analyses robot operating data to identify abnormal behaviour during automated welding. Field testing covered 12 robots in a live shipyard production environment. The project connects MakinaRocks software to existing industrial robots rather than introducing a new welding-robot model.
Source - 2026-07-02 - Market Signal - MakinaRocks expects H1 2026 orders to exceed KRW 20B
The figure is more than three times the KRW 6.4B recorded in the same period a year earlier. Sector mix was defense and aerospace 27%, heavy industry 23%, advanced manufacturing 22%, and manufacturing including automotive, robotics and machinery 21%. Named customers include ADD, Doosan Enerbility, Samsung Electronics, Yokogawa and Hyundai Motor.
