About MARSS
MARSS develops command-and-control, surveillance and counter-drone systems for defence and critical infrastructure. Its NiDAR software fuses radar, radio-frequency, electro-optical and other sensor feeds into a common picture, automating detection, tracking, classification and response coordination across air, land, surface and subsurface domains.
The portfolio includes fixed and mobile command stations, deployable sensor nodes, perimeter systems and the Interceptor-MR autonomous counter-UAS aircraft. NiDAR-CUAS links detection with layered countermeasures, while NiDAR X supports expeditionary operations. MARSS, part of Electro Optic Systems, integrates software, sensors and effectors for military, border, maritime and site-protection deployments.

- 2026-10-09 - Contract Award - EOS signs conditional £370M nationwide Gulf counter-drone contract
MARSS NiDAR will coordinate detection and response to aerial and coastal maritime drone threats, integrating radar, electro-optical and sonar sensors. EOS expects more than 80% of contract revenue within 12–24 months after the contract becomes unconditional, with the balance associated with four years of support. Outstanding conditions include a £74 million bank guarantee, a £74 million customer advance and export licences.

The centre will act as a central command point for several MARSS installations already operating in the country. The system is built around MARSS’s AI-enabled counter-drone software. EOS announced the order through an ASX release dated July 2, 2026.
