About Maxinsights
Maxinsights supplies real-world human activity data for physical AI and robot learning. Based in Santa Clara, the company operates a collection network in which people wear cameras while performing ordinary work in homes, restaurants and other settings. Its pipeline covers capture, quality checks, annotation, curation and delivery, with labels for tasks, human motion and object interactions. The company is led by founder and CEO Yuguang Yuan and co-founder and CTO Kun Wang.
MaxLoop checks incoming footage and gives collectors feedback, while MaxGlove is being developed with Genesis AI to record force and tactile information that video alone cannot capture. At its October 2026 seed announcement, Maxinsights reported more than two million captured hours, including 1.5 million model-ready hours, and more than thirty customers. These are company-reported data-business metrics. Its goal of collecting one million hours of force data in 2027 remains a target rather than an existing dataset.
