MedPal AI operates an integrated digital-health and distance-pharmacy group, with automated dispensing concentrated in its MedPal pharmacy business. Electronic prescriptions enter a pharmacist-controlled workflow before robotics and conveyor systems retrieve, label and route medicines through the fulfilment facility. Pharmacy staff remain responsible for clinical checks and final release before orders are dispatched directly to patients.
The NHS-approved Sarus Court hub in Runcorn spans approximately 23,000 square feet and is being commissioned from more than 2,000 prescription items per day toward a designed capacity above 10,000. It operates alongside the group’s Swaffham site and supports NHS and private prescriptions. MedPal has invested more than £1 million in robotics, automation and proprietary pharmacy technology, while its separate health platform links patient engagement and digital services with fulfilment.
