About Melexis
Melexis’ magnetic and inductive position sensors measure the angular or linear movement of motors, joints, pedals and actuators without relying on physical contact. Programmable interfaces and automotive-qualified packaging allow the same sensing principles to close motion-control loops in compact robot joints, end effectors and mobile equipment.
The company also supplies current sensors, embedded motor drivers and time-of-flight devices such as MLX75026 for near-field depth perception. These components sit around a robot’s main processor, converting physical movement, electrical load, temperature and reflected light into measurements used by control and safety software.
