About Minus Zero
Minus Zero builds a camera-led autonomous-driving stack for vehicle manufacturers operating in complex and weakly structured road environments. The platform combines self-supervised driving models with training infrastructure, photorealistic simulation, onboard runtime software, diagnostics, safety mechanisms, APIs and over-the-air update support.
The company demonstrated its approach through the zPod concept vehicle and is developing autonomous trucking applications with Ashok Leyland for ports, factories and corporate campuses. Its commercial model centres on integrating adaptable software into customers’ vehicle platforms rather than manufacturing a production vehicle itself.

- 2025-05-20 - Demonstration - Minus Zero demonstrates end-to-end autonomous driving on Bengaluru streets
The model was trained on raw unlabeled driving data and combined perception, prediction, planning and control in an end-to-end architecture. The demonstration included dense mixed traffic and was presented as a step toward OEM-delivered ADAS and autonomous-driving systems for difficult road conditions.

The programme is aimed at safe, scalable adoption of autonomous trucking, building on Minus Zero’s earlier closed-environment demonstration with its purpose-built zPod vehicle.
