MOONS' packages motion hardware at several integration levels. Its integrated motors combine the motor, drive and controller in one unit, with encoder feedback included in its closed-loop Step-Servo systems. Power, input/output and communications connect at the assembly, reducing the separate devices a machine builder must mount and wire.

For larger machines, the company's controller uses real-time Linux and a CODESYS runtime to coordinate multiple servo axes over EtherCAT. Remote input/output modules bring signals such as temperature measurements and high-speed counts into the control system. The portfolio also supports distributed motion programming in intelligent drives, allowing an application to divide control work between individual axes and the network's main controller.

    Both encoder families provide 1,024 lines per revolution, 4,096 counts per turn and three output channels. The MH22 supports frequencies up to 3,000 kHz and is the company's first high-speed encoder designed for the ECH22 high-speed slotless motor. Diameter-matched integration adds 6.6 mm when MH13 is paired with an ECU13 motor, while MH22 can fit an ECT22 motor without increasing body length.

    The five motor sizes use 7 mm to 27 mm shaft bores and holding torque from 75 mNm to 425 mNm across horizontal- and vertical-flange variants. The hollow shaft can carry optical components or connect directly to other mechanisms, reducing installation space and assembly complexity. MOONS says the motors can pair with harmonic gearboxes for high-torque, high-precision motion, while also serving optical and semiconductor equipment.
