MoSense

MoSense develops flexible tactile sensors, electronic skin and touch-integrated robot systems. Its M+SKIN architecture is designed to distribute multimodal sensing across robot hands, limbs, torso and feet, giving control software contact and force information from a much larger surface than fingertip sensors alone.

The company's sensing work spans capacitive, piezoresistive, Hall-effect, metamaterial and multimodal approaches, together with electronics and AI algorithms that convert signals into usable tactile feedback. MoSense also integrates its modules into manipulation platforms, wheeled-legged robots and custom machines. Current applications include embodied-AI research, education, flexible automation and unattended retail, with the company building an early commercial system around full-body robot touch.
