About MOVIA Robotics
MOVIA Robotics develops robot-assisted learning and intervention systems for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental needs. Teacher's Aide provides preprogrammed academic and social-emotional lessons for schools, HomePal brings structured activities into the home, and TheraPal supports therapeutic sessions in clinics and homes. The software can run on NAO, iPal, Kebbi and Pepper social robots, giving customers a choice of hardware platforms.
Lessons address learning readiness, daily-living activities, communication, academics and social-emotional skills. The robot presents repeatable activities through a predictable persona, while educators, clinicians or caregivers select content and guide the wider learning plan. TheraPal records session metrics through its Progress Tracker for subsequent assessment and is registered with the FDA as a Digital Health Aide. Systems work without a continuous internet connection and include curriculum, setup and specialist support. MOVIA sells the products to families, schools and clinical organisations and has also supplied robot-assisted instruction for US Department of Defense schools.
