About MSI Defence Systems
MSI Defence Systems designs and manufactures small- and medium-calibre naval gun systems, remote weapon stations and deployable short-range air-defence equipment. The Norwich company is a subsidiary of MS International plc. Its SEAHAWK family serves naval and constabulary vessels, while TERRAHAWK systems extend stabilized remote operation to land platforms and close-range defence roles. Configurations integrate fire control, electro-optical sensors and direct-fire effectors.
TERRAHAWK VSHORAD is offered as a vehicle-mounted, trailerized or flatrack system for point defence, including counter-uncrewed-aircraft missions. Its sensor and effector package supports remote control, semi-autonomous cue-and-slew and video tracking, and can operate alone or under a wider combat-management system. SEAHAWK mounts have also been integrated with uncrewed surface-vessel demonstrators. MSI supplies the sensing, tracking, fire-control and weapon-station layer; operational command and authorization of force remain with the customer.
