About Nordic Forestry Automation
Nordic Forestry Automation develops a retrofit perception and driver-assistance system for forest harvesters. Its sensor stack combines LiDAR, GNSS, RGB cameras, IMU and onboard NVIDIA compute to build a digital representation of the machine's surroundings, detect trees and support localisation beneath forest canopy.
The first product helps operators plan and execute thinning with improved situational awareness and progress visualisation. The system is installed on existing forestry machinery, adding tree characterisation, machine positioning and decision support while keeping computation onboard for remote environments with intermittent connectivity.
