About North Vector Dynamics

North Vector Dynamics develops Canadian-controlled interception systems for counter-drone and future hypersonic-defence missions. The CI-60 is an electrically propelled, near-infrared-guided kinetic interceptor for Class I drones, while the compact CM-70 uses semi-active laser guidance for short-range engagements against Group I–III threats.

Its SHIELD system combines a hybrid-electric vertical-take-off sensor and launch aircraft, precision-guided interceptors and programmable decoys. The airborne node uses electro-optical and infrared sensing, laser designation and onboard guidance, and can operate without fixed ground infrastructure in GPS-denied or radio-frequency-contested environments. Launch options span portable ground rails, vehicles, ships and airborne platforms.
