NUMERIK JENA
About
About NUMERIK JENA
The Kit R4 angle-measuring system is used in robot arms to control the positioning of car-body parts during assembly. NUMERIK JENA also supplies compact rotary, linear and absolute measuring systems for applications where installation space and positioning accuracy constrain the design. Its EPIFLEX sensor modules support custom encoder configurations.
The company was founded in 1998 from a longer Carl Zeiss Jena measurement lineage and joined the HEIDENHAIN group at formation. It keeps substantial production in Jena and provides custom designs for machine builders alongside its standard series. HEIDENHAIN sales and service offices extend its international distribution.
