Operon

Operon develops software that connects industrial drawings, operating data and documents into a shared model of a customer’s business. It reads engineering diagrams, sensor histories, specifications, work orders and email, linking equipment and jobs across those sources. The resulting context supports software agents carrying out defined engineering and operating tasks.

Applications include drawing reviews, maintenance planning, estimating, submittal checks and compliance documents for contractors, energy operators and process manufacturers. Operon’s engineers connect the customer’s existing systems and configure each workflow around its rules and formats. People approve controlled outputs, and actions are logged. The software can run in an isolated customer environment or inside the customer’s network. Its role is managing industrial information and workflow execution rather than controlling a robot’s physical motion.
