About Orbit Fab

RAFTI replaces a spacecraft's conventional fill-and-drain valve with a standard interface that supports both ground fuelling and later on-orbit replenishment. The active GRIP mechanism approaches a RAFTI-equipped satellite, aligns, docks and forms the fluid connection required to transfer propellant.

Orbit Fab is also developing fuel shuttles and UMPIRE mission-planning software for deciding when and where refuelling creates operational value. RAFTI is flight-qualified and integrated into more than 100 commercial spacecraft programmes, while upcoming US Space Force missions will demonstrate in-orbit refuelling.
