Phidgets Inc. designs and manufactures programmable sensors, controllers and interface boards that connect physical equipment to software. Its catalogue covers motion, position, temperature, force, current and environmental sensing alongside motor control, relays, data acquisition and general-purpose input and output. VINT hubs connect multiple modules through USB, Ethernet or wireless networks, allowing a system to expand without custom interface electronics.

Phidget22 libraries expose the hardware through common APIs on Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android, with code samples for Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, C and other languages. The accompanying Control Panel supports device discovery, configuration and testing before integration into an application. These products are building blocks for prototypes, machines and robots; Phidgets supplies the sensing and control layer while the customer develops the wider system and its behaviour.
