About
About PIE
PIE develops machine-vision inspection equipment, AI software and manufacturing-data systems for industrial production. Cameras, 2D and 3D measurement, image-processing algorithms and non-destructive inspection help identify defects in batteries, semiconductors, displays and other precision components. Inspection results connect with manufacturing equipment, quality-control processes and production data.
Its Data CAMP system collects and analyses signals from machines, sensors, PLCs, cameras and other sources, supporting monitoring and prediction of abnormal conditions. Local storage and edge processing allow factories to retain data and apply equipment-specific rules. The group combines this software with specialist subsidiaries: AHHA Labs contributes data and monitoring technology, while PIE Robotics supplies robotics and hardware. Based in Hwaseong, South Korea, PIE sells inspection and manufacturing-intelligence systems to industrial customers.
