Pixee Medical develops augmented-reality navigation for orthopaedic surgery. Knee+ uses a headset to overlay alignment and instrument information in the surgeon's view during total knee arthroplasty, avoiding a large external navigation cart in the operating room.
The system combines patient registration, tracking and procedure software with reusable and disposable instrumentation. Knee+ has CE marking and U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance, and the NexSight generation advances the AR interface and workflow.
