Plettenberg develops brushless electric motors, controllers and propulsion accessories for uncrewed aircraft and specialist machinery. Its NOVA light-weight inrunner family is engineered for airborne systems, combining closed rugged housings, integrated Hall-position and temperature sensing, front or rear mounting and shafts designed for secure propeller couplings.
The range spans compact models through multi-kilowatt units such as NOVA 15 variants, with air-cooled configurations and electronic speed controllers selected around voltage, torque and propeller load. Dedicated couplings use a mechanical anti-rotation interface to prevent loosening in flight. Plettenberg also supplies motors for marine, industrial and vehicle applications where high power density and controllable electric drive are required.
