Prehensio develops adaptive robot manipulation for high-mix manufacturing. Its software configures industrial robots and grippers for variable pick-and-place, part reorientation, precision placement, dynamic pickup and machine loading. At runtime, the system adjusts to changes in geometry, position and process conditions, reducing dependence on hand-tuned paths when product variants and changeovers make fixed automation expensive.
The company delivers production systems built from qualified third-party arms, hands and controls, integrating them with existing PLCs and factory infrastructure. Customers introduce a new variant through software instead of manually programming every motion. Prehensio first analyses parts, tolerances and changeover requirements, validates feasibility in simulation, then deploys and monitors the cell on site.
