R3 Robotics automates the dismantling of electric-vehicle batteries, electric drives and power electronics. Its industrial cells use 3D vision and model interpretation to identify packs, modules and components, then execute a validated sequence with robotic arms and task-specific tooling. Structured data records each disassembly step and component, supporting traceability, regulatory reporting and links to digital product passports or plant OEE systems.
Customers can install the technology at a recycling operation or use R3's Disassembly-as-a-Service sites for discharge, diagnostics and separation. Recovered parts are routed toward repair, reuse, second-life applications or material recycling according to their condition and value. New battery models pass through a defined intake, recipe-building and physical-validation process before automated operation.
