ROCAP suspends a central end-effector carriage from 12 motorised cables anchored around the workspace. Coordinated cable tension moves the tool through an area reaching approximately 30 by 30 metres while keeping the floor clear of robot rails, columns and large gantry structures.
The platform handles payloads up to roughly 250 kilograms, travels at up to one metre per second and can exchange tools for palletising, inspection, cleaning and material movement. Rbot9 engineers the cable layout, control system and application tooling around each building or production process.
