ROCAP suspends a central end-effector carriage from 12 motorised cables anchored around the workspace. Coordinated cable tension moves the tool through an area reaching approximately 30 by 30 metres while keeping the floor clear of robot rails, columns and large gantry structures.
The platform handles payloads up to roughly 250 kilograms, travels at up to one metre per second and can exchange tools for palletising, inspection, cleaning and material movement. Rbot9 engineers the cable layout, control system and application tooling around each building or production process.

- 2025-08-18 - Partnership - Rbot9 and Samey Robotics develop VOTTA overhead cleaning system
Samey Robotics and Rbot9 jointly developed VOTTA for automated cleaning in food-processing facilities. The system combines Rbot9's 12-cable ROCAP platform with a FANUC CRX-10iA/L collaborative robot. Its overhead architecture can traverse up to 900 square metres without floor rails or a conventional gantry.
