About Rift Dynamics

Rift Dynamics focuses on small uncrewed aircraft that can be produced and fielded at comparatively low cost. Wåsp FPV+ is positioned between an armed FPV drone and an AI-capable surveillance platform, with published specifications including speeds above 150 km/h, a 1.5 kg payload and IP, cellular or fibre communications.

Norwegian development is paired with partner-led scale: Ondas announced a non-controlling investment and exclusive US distribution through American Robotics, while a later 500-unit order paired Rift with Kitron manufacturing. Rift remains a distinct private operator, not an Ondas subsidiary.

  • 2025-10-02 - Commercial Order - Ondas orders 500 Rift Wasp drones with Kitron production

American Robotics holds exclusive U.S. distribution rights for Wåsp and expected the first deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2025. Kitron was named as the production partner for the initial 500 units under its longer-term manufacturing relationship with Rift Dynamics. The parties described a network capable of scaling beyond 20,000 units per month within six months of an order; that figure is stated capacity, not delivered volume.
