About Schiebel
Schiebel develops the CAMCOPTER family of vertical-take-off uncrewed aircraft and manufactures mine-detection equipment. Its rotary-wing systems carry electro-optical, radar, communications, electronic-warfare and specialist maritime payloads for intelligence, border protection, search and rescue, emissions monitoring, logistics and mine countermeasures.
A typical S-100 system combines two aircraft, interchangeable payloads, a ground station and encrypted data links. The aircraft is rated for up to ten hours of endurance, a 200-kilometre link range and operation from ships or unprepared land sites; command software also connects with naval combat-management and emergency-response systems. Schiebel reports S-100 deployment aboard more than 50 vessels and maintains aircraft production and support operations in Austria and the United Arab Emirates.
