About Scopia Surgical
Scopia Surgical develops a software navigation layer for minimally invasive and robotic procedures. The platform builds a patient-specific anatomical model from preoperative CT or MRI data, then uses computer vision to align that model with the live surgical-camera view so clinicians can see structures and operative context during a procedure.
Founded in Montreal, Scopia is preparing its first clinical validation work with hospitals in Canada and the United States. Its September 2026 pre-seed financing supports engineering and clinical hiring, product development, validation and regulatory work; the system remains a developing surgical-navigation technology and has not been cleared as an autonomous surgical robot.
