About SeaRobotics

SeaRobotics designs uncrewed surface vessels and custom marine robots for hydrographic survey, environmental monitoring and offshore inspection. Its catamaran USVs carry sonar, cameras and water sensors on stable, shallow-draft platforms that can be launched from shore or a support vessel.

Autopilot, GNSS and inertial navigation execute survey lines while operators supervise missions and data quality remotely. The USV 2.5 supports multibeam bathymetry with integrated navigation and payload power, and larger or customised craft address longer endurance and specialist instruments. SeaRobotics also engineers one-off robotic systems for research and industrial customers.

  • 2022-09-20 - Demonstration - SeaRobotics demonstrates multi-boat SR-Surveyor operations

Operators deployed several SeaRobotics ASVs, including the SR-Surveyor M1.8, to plan and execute shallow-water surveys. The vessels collected sonar and LiDAR datasets while attendees used SeaRobotics autonomy software and OIS interface. The multi-vehicle coordination demonstration showed several ASVs following one mission plan under control from shore or a support vessel.
