Seiko Epson develops compact industrial robots and factory-automation systems through Epson Robots. Its range centres on SCARA and six-axis arms used for assembly, dispensing, inspection, material handling and small-parts production.
Controllers, vision systems, force sensing and programming software connect the arms to complete workcells for manufacturers and integrators. Epson is known for high-speed precision in electronics and medical-device processes and supports cleanroom and other specialised configurations. - 2026-06-26 - Product Launch - Seiko Epson releases LS4-C, LS8-C and LS20-C SCARA robots
The LS-C range covers 4 kg payload and 400 mm arm reach for LS4-C, 8 kg and 500–700 mm reaches for LS8-C, and 20 kg with 800–1,000 mm reaches for LS20-C. Epson says LS4-C and LS8-C can reduce cycle time by about 20% and LS20-C by about 4% compared with the LS-B series, subject to the stated comparison conditions. The robots use Epson’s RC800-A controller and are aimed at applications including electronic-component assembly, automotive parts and food production.

Epson announced availability of the GX-B Series SCARA robots. The GX10B and GX20B support payloads up to 10 kg and 20 kg and integrate with the RC700E controller. The launch extends Epson's SCARA robot range for medical device, electronics and consumer electronics automation.
