About Sensory Robotics
Sensory Robotics develops SR-1, an external safety system for sharing workspaces with industrial robots, mobile robots and cobots. Redundant three-dimensional time-of-flight sensors monitor the cell through 360 degrees, locate people and command machinery to slow or stop as separation distances change.
Because sensing is installed around the workspace, SR-1 can retrofit robots from different manufacturers without altering their mechanics. It connects to existing PLC and safety circuits and is configurable around the real production layout. The system is certified to UL 1740 and validated to PLd Category 3, supporting fenceless cells that meet ISO 10218 and ANSI/RIA R15.06 requirements.
