About Sentien Robotics
Sentien Robotics develops automated infrastructure for managing fleets of third-party unmanned aircraft. Its Hive systems combine protected storage, charging, launch and recovery with software for telemetry, aircraft health and mission coordination. An internal handling mechanism moves aircraft between charging positions and launch or recovery areas, reducing the manual work needed to keep a fleet ready for repeated missions.
The family includes deployable Hive Expedition systems and larger Hive-XL and container-based Hive-ISO configurations. Sentien supplies the hardware, software and aircraft integration around the fleet, while partner manufacturers supply the aircraft themselves. Its work includes research on sustained multi-drone operations and an agreement to integrate Red Cat’s Teal aircraft with Hive platforms. Based at San Francisco’s Pier 19, the company serves organisations developing defence, security, inspection and other multi-aircraft operations.
