About
About SFlare Robotics
SFlare Robotics combines a mobile robot platform with software for interpreting domestic environments and user requests. Its hardware uses Android and Linux, a seven-degree-of-freedom arm and autonomous recharging. The company offers applications spanning homes, eldercare, education and data collection, with the same physical platform supporting interaction and manipulation.
Its PULSE architecture links semantic mapping and detection of changes in the room with interpretation of user behaviour and intent. SFlare describes a development cycle in which household interactions and user feedback return to evaluation, optimisation and capability updates. Research and education applications use physical robot trials to generate data and test algorithms.
