About
About SRC, Inc.
SRC, Inc. is an independent, not-for-profit research and development company serving defence, intelligence and environmental programmes. Its engineers develop radar, electronic-warfare and counter-drone technologies, combining research and system design with integration, testing, manufacturing and lifecycle support. The organisation began in 1957 as Syracuse University Research Corporation and became independent of the university in the 1970s.
Its counter-UAS portfolio includes Gryphon surveillance and fire-control radars used to detect and track aerial threats. SRC develops sensors for wider defence systems, including the R1810 radar for Northrop Grumman's Raid Hunter, alongside equipment and support supplied under government programmes. International work includes a Saudi joint venture with ERAF for local radar production and support, and a European industrial partnership with Neways. SRC reinvests its earnings in research, facilities and staff development under its nonprofit operating model.
