About Surgical Automations
Vāsuki is being developed as an AI-guided endoscopic robotic system that combines sensing, robotic actuation and automated navigation for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The platform is intended to help physicians steer an endoscope through anatomically complex pathways while retaining clinical control.
Surgical Automations remains in development and testing. Its 2025 seed financing was directed toward engineering and testing Vāsuki; the programme is pre-market and has not been presented as an installed clinical system.

Surgical Automations announced the $3.4 million seed round on October 30, 2025 and said it had closed earlier that year. Intuitive Surgical founder Fred Moll and cross-border venture firm TurboStart co-led the financing, joined by physicians and individual community investors. The company is using the backing to advance Vasuki toward preclinical validation and first-in-human studies for upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures.
