Suzuki Motor is a Japanese mobility manufacturer founded in 1920 and headquartered in Hamamatsu. Its core businesses span automobiles, motorcycles, outboard motors and compact mobility, supported by large-scale vehicle engineering and manufacturing.
Suzuki's direct autonomy programme with Applied EV began with investment and technical collaboration before advancing to the Generation 6 Blanc Robot. The platform integrates Applied EV's vehicle-control system with body structures manufactured by Suzuki and is designed for driverless logistics and work mobility. Suzuki has also pursued delivery-robot development with LOMBY and acquired assistive-mobility robotics company RT.Works.

Suzuki acquired all shares of RT.WORKS, making the life-support robotics company a wholly owned subsidiary. RT.WORKS develops electric assist walkers and other life-support robots; its RT.1 was described as a non-wearable walking-assist robot. Suzuki said the transaction combines its sales network with RT.WORKS’ robot technology to support development in electric mobility.
